These Container Exchange Points retrofit existing street bins and hold up to six 10 cent containers. 

Passersby can place empty glass, plastic and aluminium beverage containers into the holders instead of putting them into a landfill bin or discarding them as litter.  

Container collectors can then safely and efficiently collect the containers and return them a nearby container refund facility where they’ll receive a financial incentive that would have otherwise (literally) gone to waste.
